Hi Guys,

Just got myself a 2004 XB12R everything has been great however I have just noticed that two of the fasteners that hold the lower chin spoiler on have gone awol they are the ones on the sidestand side. I,m pretty sure they were there when I brought it however since then its been serviced so I,m guessing they didnt tighten them properly... can someone please let me know what they are called and their part number if possible? I guess they are the same as the silver torque head fasteners on the other side? hope someone can assist as I want to go riding...

Many thanks

Problem solved, I found that 1/4-20 x 3/4 Allen Head screws are a perfect alternative.

You did put a washer under the head, right?

The front screws are called 1/4 x 20 x 1/2 Truss Torx, part no. AA0404.11CXVB and they're black. They are different from the other chin fairing screws which are silver and shouldered.

Chances are though, if your dealer doesn't stock them, he might only order them if you buy a ten-pack for $9.80 plus tax. Don't ask me how I know this. : (
But if he will order two for you, you've got a good old school caring dealer.
