Hey guys just wondering if there is some kind of safety (like if the bike were laid over) that's making my 04 xb12S during real hard stops or during stoppies. Thanks in advance. |

I'm pretty sure they have a sensor that tells it when to shut off, like in a crash or falling over in general.
not really sure though, hopefully someone will chime in with some better knowledge.
(if it does have it...its under the seat, check for any cracks or pressure from the seat on it. if the mounting plate is bent on it the sensor will think the bike is leaning one way or the other when you are standing straight up, so when you come close to those lean angles it might trip, and shut your motor down)
hope it helps.
maybe check any wires near the front end that would be easy to rub if the front end travels up/down? |

I found a sensor that is rubber mounted with two screws and says "UP" on it. The bike still runs with it unpluged. Who knows what this is for sure? |

There is BAS (bank angle sensor) but it is for excessive lean angle, like laying down.
Don't know of any for the vertical.

No more gas due to pushing all of it into the front part of the frame. Very common problem and not related to any sensors.

Gunter nailed it. I think Buell implemented a modification recently to address that issue. Not sure if it was for all fuel in frame machines or possibly just the 1125R. |

If Buell doesn't come up with a fix for your bike. And in fact it is fuel starvation check out fuel cell foam from places like summit. It may help keep the pump submerged. |
