Upon reinstalling the rear wheel after a tire change, I find that the belt in it's upper travel can be rather taut and the lower stretch not touching the tensioner pulley. Or, the belt can be fitted so it is less taut along the top and also touching the tensioner pulley. Seems there's about one 'tooth' of play.
Which is the proper position/tension of the belt???

There should be no slack at all... and it should be impossible to even turn the tensioner without moving the belt.

Umm, >EEK!<

Okay, seems like I have it on properly now. Previously, there was little to no up/down deflection along the top run when using finger-pressure - and the lower stretch wasn't touching the tensioner.

Now, the top stretch deflects a bit.

Thanks!
