I just bought an oil cooler off of an xb lightning and i want to put it on my 2000 x1 lightning. What do you guys recommend do, do I get an oil filter adapter or can i just tap into the return oil line going to the oil tank. Thanks for your time.

I tried to stay with the same location that Buell has it in their system. I used a Jag sandwich adapter. I also got the lines with oil cooler I bought so I could use the cooler side as nipples for hoses. I want to covert my lines to AN fittings if possible.
