I wanna get rid of that giant black airbox (I've been asked numerous times if it was a storage box). I like the look of the Forcewinder but the price is just to high for a college kid. Are there any other setups that are cheaper? I can see spending between $100-$200. Has anyone had any experience with www.harleybigboreintakes.com

I've got the c/f race filter setup on my M2, and a similar one on the S2. The S2 had a H-D teardrop filter setup on it when I first got it.

There was an issue with some of the Forcewinders on some Buell models where it would cover up a breather hole, which is documented on the site here someplace.

Watch the classifieds on the site here as air filters show up on a regular basis. And hang onto your stock breadbox "just in case" if sometime in the future you need or want to put it back on.

Mikej, what brand is the c/f race filter you have? Would it fit on a 2001 S3?

Mike has the race ham can. It was a Buell accessory part. Yes it will fit a S3.
Check out American Sport Bike, I think Al may still have some left. Otherwise keep an eye out on the for sale section or Ebay.
