Howdy,

I want to get myself and aftermarket exhaust but I do not know which one is right for me. I want one that will make car alarms go off as I pass by. Not literally of course but I am mostly looking for a little more boom and a few more ponies but mostly boom. Does anyone know which exhausts I should be looking at? If anyone could give me some of there expertise on the subject, it will really help me make a decision.

I've had V&H, D&D and Drummer. The V&H and D&D were both on tubers and the Drummer is on my XB12S. The D&D was the loudest (to me) and the Drummer made the best improvement over stock (only my opinion).

Do I require the ecm because I really am not too concerned with adding the power I just want something that sounds cool that I will not sacrifice any power over the stock setup and I do not want to buy an ecm or modify the bike in mounting it

will if you change the muffler you will need a ecm or programble ecm for the air fuel ratio , to be right if not the bike will run lean

The open airbox & KN filter makes a LOT of intake sound and more power than stock ! And it requires no ECM change or reprogramming. I have a Micron installed, but I think the open airbox is making more noise than the exhaust.

Maybe you should consider that first, and see how it goes .
