I have an 05 XB13Scg and I do a lot of highway riding on my bike. I am not too fond of spinning the motor at 3000+ RPMs on the freeway for extended periods of time. I'm guessing I'm a little anal about my bike and what not. Does anyone make a kit that will replace one, or both of the pulleys to reduce the final ratio? I found one, not sure where, but it said it was only for an XB9R. It was only a 10% reduction too. I'm thinking that this isn't very much of a reduction for the highway use, but then again I do want to keep some low end for motoring around the streets. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

A 10% reduction for an XB9 is probably just the stock XB12 primary gear set you have right now.

While I do occasionally find myself looking for a 6th gear out on the freeway, these motors do seem like they run smoothest at 3k+ rpm's.
