So I know the forks changed from 2003 models to 2004, but my question is are the triples the same? I'm not sure if the ID of the fork holes are the same. Do the larger forks have larger OD tubes or are the differences internal?

The reason I ask is I'm looking to ditch my crossroads bars and go the firebolt clipons, but I need to know what years are compatible...

Thanks!

Top triples are all the same for all years.
In 05 all XBs except the 12Scg moved up to larger 43mm forks which require a bigger lower triple.

You'll have no problems with the upper triple.

Thanks for the info, I was planning on reusing my lower triple anyway (obviously).
