I recently came across a set of Blast engine cases cheap, with the intention of building a long stroke thumper for a Street Tracker project. They are an '04 set, with a straight roller bearing sleeve on the timing side and a pair of tapered rollers on the sprocket side. Just wondering which 3.813" stroke crankset (minus one rod) is the best fit for the job. Also, are the primary drive, clutch and tranny Sporty or XB pieces? Thanx!

I'd be surprised if the XB12 parts weren't the best choices. Will try to get you a more definitive answer than that. Stay tuned. : )
