when checking the oil 06xb9 should the bike be on the kick stand or sdanding up? I have been checking it on the full mark on the kick stand hot,it takes more than 2.5qts which is what the manual says thanks

On the stand on a level surface is correct. Suggest only filling with no more than the specified capacity and noting that level on the dipstick as your most accurate "full" mark.
