Hi all. . . I'm about to instal a radar detector on my '07 TT & need to find a switched supply to tie into behind the 'flyscreen'. Can anybuddy steer me towards a particular (colour code) wire back there plz? Cheers, BrooC in NZ ; ))

I don't know what the amp draw is but I would not use a circuit like headlights or something important. Maybe the horn. I would consult a service manual and look at the schematic for wiring.

Tap off the wire for the 'third headlight'... little socket between the two headlights used only on the euro models. It has power when the bike is running, and in fact you can lock the bike and take the key and keep power to that lead if you put the key in the right position.
