was looking for some advice on which carb i should up grade to. i have a 96 s1 with a 41mm stock carb and i want to upgrade. what do you recomend? would appreciate any help. Brian

Mikuni HSR42....best single mod I ever made to my 98S1W.

You can buy just the carb, but you want the "Easy Kit". It makes it, well, easy.

Once installed, the air filter doesn't know the difference, so there is no impact on the air filter mounting.

if u dont mind a little more abrupt throttle response,the mikunis the one to go with.i bought mine off of ebay used for 150 bucks and am currently tring to get it jetted right.if u have the money,theres all sorts of hsr42's for sale new on ebay for buell applications.and their already set up.plug and play.
