Howdy,

New Bueller here in afghanistan. I bought an xb12r from the exchange on post and I wont be home for a few months. I was wondering if it was set up for passengers or if I would have to buy some accessories. I cannot see any passenger footpegs on the pictures. If anyone out there could let me know I would appreciate it, I am just curious and excited for my new machine.

Folks

We have a new Bueller that is preserving our freedom (we can only hope he is Navy; but if not, he is still the man). We should arrange some accessories for his new ride.

Zachhill, send me your address at t_edinger@hotmail.com and I will send you a contribution toward your first upgrade!

Thank you for your service!

Toby

If you bought it new, it will have passenger pegs.

Hey Zach, thanks for serving!

The FireBolt has a plastic cover that (in most pictures) keeps you from seeing the passenger pillion. It's only takes a second or two to remove and you will have some saddle for your passenger. Quick and easy!

One thing you may wish to note, the bike is not known for passenger comfort, at least taking comments from my better half, the seating position is rather 'tight' with the passenger pretty much in a full tuck, on a small pillion area. This does however make for some rather spectacular views while following someone riding two up on that bike..

Now then, there are some accessories available to you, a 'touring' pillion with a bit more padding is available. I'm sure you can order one up (at a discount) from one of our fine sponsoring dealers. Now, when you get back, remember to spend a little time on your new 'curve surgery' device before you go two up.. These bikes are wonderful at lofting the front wheel as well as slicing and dicing ANY bend in the road you choose to attack!

Let us know if there's anything else we can help ya with! And welcome to the family!
