I was on the S+S website today and noticed that they make some pretty serious stroker kits for Sportsters. I guess that those kits should work in tube frame engines, but with the re-design on the XB, how much stroke can be squeezed into them, or, for that matter, a Blast?

The immediate limit is the rod ratio - for the larger strokes even the iron XL rod isn't long enough. This means taller cylinders, which means longer pushrods, covers, manifold, blah.
If you have room, 4-5/8" with an 8.00" rod is a nice combination. All it takes is money.
