I have a starter gasket leak that I'm trying to get to, but I can't get off the primary cover. I removed all bolts and even loosened the primary chain adjuster. It still feel like something is holding it from coming loose. Any suggestions would be welcomed! thank you everyone.

Have you remove the clutch cable?

Joe,
That look like my next step. The adjuster is turned all the way in and the cable looks like there is NO slack. will that prevent the cover from coming off?

Thanks Joe. It was the clutch cable that kept the cover on. Once I removed it. It came off like butter. I really appreciate your help!

Been there. I assume you found the adjuster in the cable? Don't give up, you know these bikes require rider involvement.

My starter gasket leak came from a loose starter. I tightened it and it 's good to go. Thank you.
