HELP!
First off my file is too big to load. But heres the scoop.

05

XB12R

De-Snorcled

Swiss Cheesed Airbox

Breathers re-routed out of the airbox

Medium flow Rebel Racing Pipe (Reworked Stocker)

Max HP: 84.9

Max TQ: 70.1

AFR (Heres the problem) a steady 17.5

Max Tq starts about 4,000 and lasts through about 6,000.

The HP was a straight line with no dips, the tq peaked early and was more or less straight till 5500. the bounces in the tq curve were from the bike almost bouncing off the Dyno. The guy had to finally sit of the bike to get it to stand steady and get a steady reading. They also said my bike was shaking the dyno trailer also contributing to the low values. I KNOW theres a lot more power there, if it had a little more fuel maybe?!

Without spending more than the gross national product of Peru, whats my next course of action???

Buy a bike with more HP if you want numbers better than that.
Those are about average.

Buelltroll, make no mistakes I am PLEASED with the power my bike makes and LOVE the sound of that pipe!
I'm just worried about my 17.5:1 Air Fuel Ratio and I know once its put back in line to a more realistic 14.7:1 there will be even a little more there!
My main concern now is engine Longevity. Should I just put on a race ECM and forget about it, a Remus power box. I would love a custom mapped ECM but thats way beyond my wallet.

Anyway. Nevermind!
I'll do as I always have and find my own solutions to my problems!!

well, the cheapest software wise is the ECM spy. costs about $35-40 for a cable.

The problem is to tune it properly will take a bunch more dyno time.

The Remus powerizer is a piggyback unit that is fairly limited in it's capabilities, but may
be right up your alley as far as a quick solution that will make things work well enough
to prevent a melt down due to the lean condition it's running in right now.

Don't be too quick to trust the A/F reported by a dynamometer. If the exhaust sampling system isn't maintained (well-sealed tubing/connections, clean filter, O2 sensor in good working condition) or if the O2 sensor isn't properly warmed-up or if the probe isn't properly inserted into the tail pipe (deep enough), the A/F reported can be way off. Sounds to me like that may be the case for your run. Check to see if your shop has any other runs from the same day; best would be after your run. If they exhibit similarly lean A/F, then you probably don't have anything to be concerned about.

Blake your correct, the side of the pipe they placed the sensor is slightly obstructed inside the pipe so the reading is most likely not 100 percent accurate, that said, the night before I pulled both plugs to get a reading-no carbon deposits with 7K miles on them??? BUT the tips were white, VERY white...SCARY. I have taped over my airbox holes in the mean time and plan on checking all my seals for leaks-

There you go then.

If it ain't pinging, don't sweat it. Fuel these days can produce a lot of whitish deposits, and yes the bikes are set up to run on the lean side, but if you don't have detonation (pinging), you have no worries.

Plugs usually don't lie.

These things usually run rich not lean.

Go irish and check again to be sure to be sure.

Update-First I remapped with ECMSpy, it helped a great deal, then my race ECM showed up. Plugged it in, set my TPS and WOW, what a wake up! NO decel popping, no hesitation, plugs are a dull brown again and she wheelies at will!
I gotta get this thing BACK on the dyno!
