Are there any major differences between the 98 S1 trees and the 99 X1 trees ??

They are both made for the 54mm forklegs but is the distance from the neck centerline to the forkleg centerline different ??

Had someone from Seoul, Korea ask me if he could bolt on a 99 X1 front end on his Sportster.

Thanks, Chris

Offset specs are the same, so the Seoul man (sorry, couldn't resist) is good to go. Your Sportster is world renowned!

thanks, I was looking at a 99 X1 on ebay that had a good shot of the trees and they looked the same to me, but it's good to get confirmation.

Really weird, this guy pm'd me and started asking all these questions out of nowhere, lucky for him I'm stuck in Colorado working so I've got the time after work to help him out.

thanks again, Chris
