Crap, I just bought the AirBlow intake from Trojan Horse, and it's very nice and all, but, unlike the picture on the Trojan web-site, there's a big "RRC Customizing" logo embedded in the clear coating of the carbon fiber, right on the outside of the elbow. Every time I look at the thing, my eye is drawn to the logo, I don't like it at all.

Any suggestions or ideas on how to neatly get this logo off? It looks like paint, under the clear top coat. I don't want to make it look like it's been in a scrape-inducing crash, but I really don't like it there at all. I'm just afraid to touch the clear coat, as if it will delaminate if I cut out the logo paint.

The intake itself is pretty nice. It weighs almost nothing, unlike the surprisingly heavy Forcewinder I took off. The outside dimension appears to be about identical, unlike some Force "types" on eBay.

What I notice is that due to the thinner walls of the carbon tube, the inside diameter measures 5/16" bigger. That's quite a bit!

I know it's probably psychosomatic, but it seemed like it ran better with it on, after it warmed up. The initial idle didn't sound right, likely time to re-visit the Idle Air Mixture Adjustment Screw.

One other drawback is the vent hole cutaway, it's pretty much like the new, "bad" Force style, it's a smallish channel cut into the edge. I will cut it out bigger later, but since I keep the revs so low, it won't ever affect me, so didn't bother to fix it yet.

I'd have an automotive paint shop with c-f experience take a look at it. It should be as easy as gently wet sanding it off,
and either buffing it out or putting another coat of clear on. but it is always better to have a pro's input on it.
