2001 X1 When I tried to start my bike today the fuel made a kind of hissing sound and cracked a fuel hose. now the pump doesnt come on when I turn the key. Have any of you guys had a fuel pump take a dump on you in the past. any other Ideas

I had mine die on me last year. I think they are around $250. I see some on ebay cheep but not when I needed one. I called http://www.suburbanharley.com/
they had one in stock and back on the road for the weekend.

i didnt have a fuel pump take a dump, i had the regulator seals go bad, and they are on eternal backorder (read, not avaliable).. so i got a complete pump from another buell owner that went to a turbo setup. I recall that the fuel pumps are also on eternal backorder. I do have one if you need it, just put your regulator in it and youre good to go....
