bought a very used 2003 lightning.
doing major maint. when got to air box noticed he had a k&n in there. great i think. take it out to clean and notice (hell, it screamed at me) guy drilled about 20 1/4 inch holes all around and THROUGH the air cleaner. kinda defeats the purpose of filtering all the sand that blows out here in arizona. any one hear of this?? what was he trying to accomplish>?? i am thinking he just ruined a great filter.
have read other post about opening up air box. this i can see. but the filter itself???
