Does any one know where to get a replacement hose for the magura clutch conversion kit? It has a banjo hose end on one side.

I've got them in stock, but I can't remember how much just the hose is. The hose by itself isn't on the web site.

You can buy hoses, stainless steel or SS with the plastic coating [I recommend the plastic coated units as the non coated units abraid anything they come in contact because of the bike's vibration] either RevTech, Goodridge or Russel brand from 9" to 78" in 2-3" increments. You'll need to buy the correct banjo fitting for one end of course. Any bike shop should have these in stock or should be able to order them on short notice. What kind of fitting is on the master cylinder end of the hose?

I looked at the Magura Hyd. Buell/Sportie clutch add in American Sportbike and now I realized I may have been wrong. The picture is not good enough to get a good look at the fitting on the master cylinder and I'm not familiar with this acorn expanding seal you mentioned. Since it's made in Italy I suspect it's metric and won't hook up to a male AN-3 fitting which is what's on the RevTech, Goodridge or Russel hoses. A good machinist with a metric lathe could make an adaptor for this fitting but it would probably be cost prohibitive. I looked at the lower fitting an it's definitely a standard 10mm banjo fitting. No problem there.

I think I solved it. I have friends at a local bicycle shop and they carry magura hydraulic brakes. They ordered me a braided stainless hose with both ends for $35. Don't think I can beat that price anywhere. thanks for all the info.
