Is there any place to get a tank bra for my '01 Cyclone?
It's in the '02 catalog, but not the '03. I want to be able to ride to armored combat practice, the helmet can go in a tail bag, Sword's over my shoulder, but the leg armor!, stainless knee's & plastic tank don't mix.

Any dealers still have a big tank Cyclone bra?? pn 50486-98Y Racoon tank mask 99+ M2 & 98 S1W

Check on ebay, I see them there all the time. Do you know where I can pick up a tank bra for a 2002 Cyclone? Even a new used one would be nice.

I have a spare (with broken elastic cord) but I don't think I'm gonna let it go.

I'm VERY dissapointed with Buell's P&A attitude.
They have dropped almost everything for tube framers.

Steve has it right, Ebay usually has a couple every couple of weeks.

Disregard previous post. I am looking for a tank bag not a tank bra, already have one.

Just got back from family reunion in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Stopped at Frontier H-D Buell in Lincoln, Parts guy told me Racoon mask was obsolete. Then surprised me by printing list of possible stores sorted by distance from Lincoln!

Third try (first 2 had on Computer, could not find) @ ABC H-D in Waterford MI, got a "I have it in my hand" and asked if he could call me back in AM as they were closing. I called from road Wed AM, they shipped in PM, arrived Friday.

Instructions call for a bolt & washer missing from kit (but not needed IMHO)

Kudo's to Frontier H-D Buell In Lincoln NE for giving me a "good luck" list. (first time for that for me)

Kudo's to ABC H-D in Waterford MI for prompt shipping & for having such an obscure part in stock.

Aesquire,
Just use the rear gas tank hold down bolt.
It long enough to go through the grommet and holds just fine.
I've got about 15K miles on mine. You will however have to replace the front elastic strap eventually.
They stretch out and eventually break.
10 min with a sewing machine and some high quality elastic takes care of that little problem.

I have a tank bra, no instructions. Any idea how to put the damn thing on. Also, the seller said it was for a small tank M2. Not sure what mine is. I have a '02 M2L. But I think that its a big tank. Any help would be great.

You have the big tank. You need to sell the one you have to someone with a S1 or 98 or older M2. You are trying to put a A-cup bra on a set of Double D's

What did these things go for from the dealer? If you cannot find one I could take mine to an upholstery shop to have it copied.

Country, I have two of them, both with broken front elastic.
I want to keep one of them. I'll see if I can sew in some new elastic.
I won't get to it until late this week or early next week (I've got our main bathroom torn apart. The Mrs. would be quite upset if I started another project..).
Ping me offline, we'll work something out.

I'd be careful if you find a guy who knows how to put a bra "on" instead of taking it off.

I just scored a small number of new old stock Manta Tank Bras ("Aegis Tank Mask is the official Buell name). If anyone needs one, contact me at American Sport Bike.
