Hi I have a 2000 X-1 with 20,000 miles on it. Just put in new battery also. Went to start it, and was DEAD..no juice anywhere, no fuel pump. Then slight weak dash lights came on. Checked battery and looks like its draining while in the bike, and ignition turned on. I have heard of stator problems cropping up with this many miles on the bike. Just before it was fine: starting right up with strong battery. A few days later was completely dead. I checked the obvious, fuses and kick stand cut out. Any tips?
