I want to change my XB gauges to one with a different color scheme but I don't want to effect my odometer reading. Is the reading stored in the gauge or in the ecm?

Thanks in advance

In the gages, but you can quite easily just change the face plate on the gage set you have.

Typeone was selling the faces for a while, and if you search back he posted up a "how to" on the swap.

I guess that is what I will have to do because I don't want to put a gage that reads 13,000 on a bike that has less than 1,000. Thanks for the info

Or vice-versa for those that buy a bike.
