A few years ago I ran across a final drive belt that was separated and when placed together it used four pins. This allowed replacement with disassembly. Has anybody seen or experienced this belt. I thought I saw it on one of the HD sites.

I did think that if nobody made one for our application, that it might be possible to buy a larger one and cut it down to 128 teeth.

You'll have to drill the ribs as well for the pins that hold it together, plus I think the belts are either cut at an angle or at a V to fit the ends together (I've only seen pics in catalogs of them).

Aren't the big bikes belts wider?

THey must have one for a sportster. It is such a common bike.

Doesn't look like they have one for the XL.
Might try some of the belt companies, not sure who makes the FL one for the H-D's.
