Bought two used bikes from Lakeville-X-1 and a XR-650L. They were very eager to sell me the X-1 but I had to practically beg the sales mgr to sell me the XR-650. Last year I went in to look at a XB12 and the sales mgr told me pointblank that he didnt want my X1 on trade-I went elsewhere to buy my new Buell. Service-two different techs seem to care and have had training-but I have had unresolved issues. parts-average parts dept. * I will say there are a few people in the dealership that are real eager about Buells (younger guys) * to be fair I dont think these issues can be placed at the feet of the head office-they probably arent aware of how this dealership operates-ie-dont blame "Buell" it is a local issue.

Lakeville HD hasn't yet taken down their Buell signage-but they no longer sell-or SERVICE the bikes! "we sent back the tools" to Buell-what a bunch of wingnuts!!

Their loss, they've been going down hill for some time.
Used to be pretty good but that was a number of years ago.

Wonder when they pulled the plug on Buell?

They pulled the plug about two weeks ago. Everything went to Donahue HD. Spoke with lakeville yesterday and told them they made a big mistake.

Claimed they didn't like the idea of a non HD engine in the 1125R and I told them what about the VRod and the ties with Porsche. BPR or Porsche, really does it make a huge difference.

By the way I rode an 1125R and what a F'in bike. Road America is a great track for a demo ride. Glad Abe and Flickenger sent them for us.

Planning on talking to FaribaultHD in the morning, seems they picked up Buell.

FWIW, I have been very, very happy with Donahue.
