Has anyone used the Scott reusable oil filter.

I have one on my 04 Honda xr650r and it seems fine for that bike.. but rebuilding a used up buell motor would be alot more expensive.

I would recommend against it. Cost payback isn't there -- how many standard oil filters would you go through before you get to the cost of a Scott? Filtration capacity is reduced (the screen is a surface filter rather then a depth filter). Advantages are that it looks cool and you don't need to stock oil filters...
