Hi, I am an owner of a 2006's Buell xb12ss looking to exchange the original
exhaust for JARDINE model (18-5004-123-02). Does anyone already uses
this exhaust that can give me a feed back? Thanks:

I purchased a 2004 with a Jardine that I replaced after all the rivets in both ends ripped the case after 4000K miles.

I have a jardine on my 06 ss and it is awesome the pawer and sound is great. I have 6000 miles on it and still know problems. I have read about some peoples rivets coming out so I check my about every 500 miles but they are as tight as when I got the pipe

they should be repacked about every 5k. if they dont get redone the fiberglass "erodes" and thats what causes the aluminum to stretch and the rivets to go. just repacked mine with stainless wool. should be a one shot deal.

I have the carbon fiber version on my 05 XB12Scg and I LOVE it! Although I only have about 800 miles on it, I haven't had any problems yet. However, I do keep a close eye on the rivets and make sure they aren't backing out. You need to replace them before they come totally out and rip through the casing.

A lot of people say this pipe is too loud, but I think it's just right. Maybe my helmet is a little better at blocking out the noise?
