guys and gals,

Why is my bike snapping belts like toothpicks. One about every 200 miles. as soon as I get on the gas the belt breaks?? can someone please help???

Did you perform the 04 spec drivebelt upgrade?
About $400-, but cheaper than you current problem. Also, are the pulleys aligned & not chipped? 03 rear pulley had some kind of funky steel coating on the teeth. I noticed it was chipping before I brought it to the recycling center...

There is an upgraded belt that replaces the original one. Can you post the part number of the belts that keep snapping? The number is printed on the belt and should match what's on your service invoice.

FYI, I've put approx 30k miles on belt p/n G0500.02A8R and it still looks OK. But I'm gonna replace it and the idler pulley because it's due and also so I can have a spare on hand.
