Author Message   Surewin Posted on Saturday, June 16, 2007 - 12:37 am:        so I had a sudden weird vibration, looked down and my oil light was on. I pulled over, waited 10 minutes, fired it up again and heard a bit of a grind. Not very loud, but didn't sound good. Shut her down, trailered home and found a little oil coming out of the oil pump housing. I'm thinking something stopped turning, but this surprises me as I'm anal about oil changes and level. I haven't heard of this being very common so I thought I'd see what everyones opinions are.   Jkhawaii Posted on Friday, June 22, 2007 - 04:29 am:        how many miles on the bike? That oil pump pinion gear (the one that drives the gear on the oil pump) was upgraded on 2006 and newer bikes.
