Does anyone know what parts would be required to remove the fairing/dash assembly off of a 2000 S3 and install M2 style headlight and dash? A scanned copy of the m2 parts manual would be a great help. My closest buell dealer isn't much help.

P.S.
I already have the M2 tach kit.

Thanks

Why the anonymous post? :/

Explain that then I'll see if I can get you the info you need.

Have you considered that there may be folks out there who might be willing to trade their M2 front end treatment in exchange for your S3 parts? An ad posted to the BadWeB parts wanted section of the classifieds might be productive.

I dont know why it came up as anonymous this is my first post since joining the site.

I picked up the bike used for a steal but the original fairing was broken in a few spots,so I imagine the brace is tweaked, and who knows what else.I prefer the look of the m2 more anyways.

Yep, there are regular requests from folks looking to put an S3 fairing on their M2.

As far as putting an M2 headlight onto an S3 first we have to know if your S3 has the upside down forks. The M2 has rightside up forks equating to a smaller diameter of tube in the triple trees. To mount the M2 headlight you'll need the headlight mounting brackets. I rode the M2 in to work this morning, so give me a minute or two and I'll walk out to the parking lot to see what all you need.

Boss was standing by the window overlooking the parking lot so I couldn't get out there. But pretty sure you just need the brackets that go on the forks, or you may need to fabricate some up, then the headlight itself and the bolts to hold it to the brackets, plus the turn signals.

Throw on a flyscreen and you should be good to go.

I put X1 turn signals on my M2, the X1 bendy mounts don't break as easily as the non-bendy M2 mounts.
