I just bought an X1 2000 and it has a billet w/clipons top triple clamp I am going to put back on the original bars and wondered if some one could tell me the benefits of leaving the aftermarket on besides being able to switch back and forth? and what this tripleclamp and clip ons are worth? The everything on the bike is topnotch $ I would assume it is also.

Photo? The smarty pants answer is that it is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Without seeing the top clamp and clipon assembly, it's hard to say what it retails for. Usually used parts run for around half to 2/3 of retail depending on condition and demand. Just guessing, I'd estimate you could get somewhere between $100 and $150 on the used market for your X1 clamp and clipon setup.
