Help! I've got 3200 miles on my 2003 XB9R and my speedo just failed for the second time. Anybody else out there have a similar problem. Solutions? Oh, the first time was at 700 miles and under warranty-sensor problem.

It is a known issue with an updated replacement part.

The speedo sensor goes out because of voltage variations on some 2003 xb models.

It is an easy fix. The sensor is attached to the top of the tranny case just above
the countershaft sprocket.

And the newest part should solve the problem for good... I think they draw regulated 5v from the ECM supply now.
