Just bought a used 2000 m2 cyclone and the stock air box has been removed and it has a k and n filter/intake. I was just wondering if the stock air box bracket can be removed because it is ugly?

Do you mean the extension of the cast aluminum engine mounting bracket? If so, then yes if you are very careful you can cut away the extension while being sure to leave unscathed the area near the stressed bracket portion that is supporting the engine. You'll want that portion it to end up looking no less minimal that the similarly bolted portion on the left side of the bracket. Just be sure to leave plenty of material for the stressed bracket portion is all.
