Anyone know of a back thread on here describing how to mount the light and deflector assembly from a Lightning to an M2 (or other tuber)? I have managed to scrounge up a screen, headlights and the mounting bracket. Before I start taking things off, I want to make sure I'm not in for any snags.

Thanks for any info, guys!

bump.

I think i can mount most of the hardware, however, on the XB lights, there is mounting tab on the underside of the lights that i don't have anything to attach it to the tree with. Is this crucial? or am I just being paranoid here?

Thanks!

Another update...

I tried mounting the headlight and found a few kinks... The plugs are exactly opposite : ) But that's no big deal. The bigger deal is that in order to mount the dualie headlight assembly to the cyclops mount, I've got to make some sort of adapter. The dualie is actually a little wider than the cyclops. Also, all the bolt holes on the XB lights and mounts are just SLIGHTLY different than the bolts that came off the M2... So I'm going to have to go bolt hunting.

Anyway, if anyone has any more info, please let me know.

Thanks!
Tom
