Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this happened...

I've noticed from time to time - even with as little as 1/4 tank of gas, that I will sometimes get a small spill of gas from the overflow tube over the exhaust pipe after I've been riding, park and then come back out to the bike. I was told this was because even with less than a full tank, the gas can be pushed forward in the frame and up to the vent at the top of the filler neck. Does this sound right?

The first time this happened, I just about browned my pants - I saw the quarter-size spot of gas on the pavement and I could see it dripping onto the exhaust outlet. It took me a few minutes to find the overflow tube and see that I didn't have a leak in the frame. Doh!
