I have a leak.

It is where the vent oil line's elbow fitting connects to the gearcase cover.

I will try to get some pix up.

Its #2 in the 03 XB9R service manual page 3-74 Figure 3-112 "Oil Lines and Connections"

I cant find any help in he service manual.

Should I just replace the elbow? the entire oil line?

Any ideas? suggestions?

Elbows like that usually have "pipe thread" on the end that threads into the case. Pipe threads usually require some type of sealant like teflon tape.One and a half wraps should do it. Over torquing a pipe thread can easily crack the piece you're threading into, so check that first.
