Just install D&D on new ULY and seem to have a stumble off idle.Runs and sounds fine in upper rpm.
Any ideas?Get's warm again here in Iowa think I better take it in to the shop and have em reset some things.

Hey Gearloose,

Could just be your AFV needs to be "re-learned" because of the free flowing exhaust. If you're going to run a D&D on a 12X, I'd recommend a hi-flo a/c element & race ECM. Just got done with another post explaining why here: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/257372.html?1171296060. Typically, the 12X does not have a race ECM offered because it has a specific map in the OEM ECM to aid in low end power delivery if you find yourself off the paved path. Not exactly cost effective to have a race ECM for one model only.

Also, I'd keep an eye on your belt. Sounds goofy, but I'm seeing increased belt failures due to that right side outlet on aftermarket mufflers right underneath the drive belt. Could be nothing, but all the belt failures I've seen on the 2006+ belt (i.e. - almost indestructible) have all had some aftermarket muffler venting hot exhaust gasses underneath the belt.

Hope this helps.

Chris
