I was looking around on the Buell.com site in the acces. and saw a note pertaining to replacement wheels not fitting the 12X. What gives? Is it due to diff. size or because of the harsher environment it will be exposed to?

The Uly wheels were beefed up to handled off road riding. I don't know exactly what changed, but they weigh about 1 lb more than the other XB wheels.

If my memory is correct the thickness of the rim is slightly thicker than regular XB wheels.
