I keep hearing great things about these boots, anyone have them or have any experience?

Never used them but they seem to be a different company than the bates boots that are supplied to the military. They appear to be a good boot but then again how much weight does that statement carry considering I have never had any of these.

My biggest selling point is they are made in the USA. Thank you for finding me another company to purchase from in the future!!!!!

Bates made me a pair in navy blue a long time ago. I sold the boots and my set of Langlitz leather to buy tires for a rally car I had at the time. I regret selling both the boots and the leathers

The boots were minimalist, no extra padding, armor or titanium. They fit well were sized to fit over the leathers and the quality as with all the Bates stuff is top notch.

I have a pair of the road race type, that I bought in the early '80's. They are nice quality, well made. Still going strong, almost 25 years later.

I don't know what else to say about a pair of boots (that I never crashed in yet.) Don't expect that much from a boot, but I'm happy with these. The feeling of wearing good boots vs. just any old thing is hard to describe, analogous to wearing a half-helmet vs. a good full-face helmet, I suppose. Always better to have the "right tool for the job".

And they can custom-make them, most any color or size, what else can you ask for?

Well I went ahead and ordered a custom pair, after hearing from you guys and a friend with a 20 year old pair, I figured they sounded like the right boots for me. Can't wait to get them.
