I just bought an 06 XB12Ss last saturday, which is sitting in my garage. What a shame, though I can't ride in the snow. I've read the exhaust shoot out and it was intersting. My question.

I'm looking for a straight swap out from the stock pipe, and that's it. I'm not interested in changing the ECM etc.... I'd like to get a bit more sound out of my baby without taking it to a dealer. Opinions?

Also, does changing out the pipe void the the warranty?

Thanx in advance

Drummer.

And for the warranty, technically yes, but only on the exhaust system.

Personally, I wouldn't put any pipe on without ECM considerations. The Buell Race Pipe was a beautiful deal with the ECM that came right along already set to work plug and play so you don't have to mess with a custom program. A new pipe will increase the flow and lean out the already lean conditions of the Buell engine = potential trouble... I say deal with save your cash for doing it right.
