How hard is it to install the levers and what is involved? Thanks! --Sean |

effort is exactly the same as swapping out stockers -- remove the bolt and nut retaining the existing levers, remove the old lever, install CRG, reating with same hardware (metric, on ubers anyways) |

Trivial, HOWEVER.... A number of folks that have done it aren't aware of the little micro switch on both the clutch side on the underside. When the new lever is put in, it is important to properly depress that switch as the lever is slid in, otherwise you can fold it over on itself and break the switch. It's trivial, but I've seen it several times, so be aware. Al |

For those of you who have installed the CRGs does the adjustable clutch bring it closer to the handlebars. I have short fingers, the wife hates them!! |

If you adjust the lever, yes - your static position is closer to the grip resulting in a shorter throw (great for smaller hands or quicker shifting). BUT - you need to readjust your clutch as well, or your friction point will be off and the clutch may not engage/disengage completely. See your service manual (or local Buell shop) for clutch adjustment procedures, and make the adjustments AFTER you decide on your static position. I have the CRGs on my S1W (stubby), and LOVE 'EM. |

Hey I finally got my levers and installed them, but they feel like the fit is a bit looser than stock, is this normal? Everything seemed to go inreal easy, took about 15 minutes. However, I reread this post after I installed and didn't notice the switch. How would I know if I broke it? I doubt I did because everything went in so smooth, but just in case. --Sean |
