I just started putting my 04 xb12r back together after taking it down to the frame for repairs and weld on sliders, and I have a wire and plug that I can't find a mate to. this is a two wire plug neer the fan. One wire is red with a white stripe and the other is orange. the plug is long and skinny and square where it would slide into the other plug it should be going to. I'm not sure if its male or female now that I think of it. I can't find any open plugs, and the only thing I have removed is the small black can near battery(smog device for california I believe) but I don't think there was any wires going to the can. This is what I get for waiting so long to put this bike bake together. Thanks for reading Dannyboy | ||

Could it be the rear brake light switch? Mine comes from the harness on the left side and connects to its opposite plug one compartment behind the fan. | ||
