please explain how rake and trail effect handling the cityx has less rake and trail than lighting long .How does this effect handling?

Trail is the horizontal distance between the point where a line through the middle of the steering head intersects the ground and the center of the tire contact patch. Increased rake increases trail as does increased triple clamp offset and angularity.
In general less trail gives quicker steering but less straight line stability.
