More questions...

What differences in thicknesses if any has anyone noted between OEM vs Cometic (or ???) head and base gaskets? Do these things compress much? I have used stock stuff I can mic but that's about it.

We have Cometic EST head gaskets in .025, .030, and .040. EST base gaskets are available in .010 and .020.

Stock head gaskets seem to measure .045 to .050. Stock paper base gaskets are around .016.
