Okay, so my husband is in love with his Buell and I wanted to get him a leather jacket for Christmas....His Buell is yellow and he currently has a leather that doesn't go (he bought the leather before the bike)...I wanted a jacket that was mostly black with some yellow....but I am having a tough time locating one...I would LOVE for it to have the BUELL name on it..

Any suggestions from you guys as to where to look for him? I really want to surprise him with this for Christmas, rather than telling him to go pick it out!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

PS I am incognito, hopefully he doesn't recognize me...he posts a lot on Bad Weather Bikers!

Tons of styles, they make the best stuff! Good luck.

Wonderful idea and initiative : )

I'll second the Vanson suggestion. Outstanding quality stuff that holds up excellently in a crash situation (I've crashed 3 times in my Vanson suit and the suit is still holding up just fine).

May I suggest getting a jacket that comes with full elbow/forearm, shoulder and back armor.

One thing about Vanson - their leathers are quite stiff when new and take awhile to break in. But it's worth the effort.

Dogpiling on the recommendations from Thespive and Herik - Vanson is a great suggestion.

I'm sure DaveS at Appleton could supply some Buell patches for whatever jacket you get.

Vanson is a GREAT choice in jackets.

This may be a little late, but Bates also does good work and customizes jackets. I have a jacket and pants from them purchased in 1982 which still looks and fits great.

Vanson also has good leather gear.
