HAS anyone got this up to speed yet IF one goes to this kit, with RS 585 cams etc.etc ??
Seems weird these kits are out there BUT none has got the ECM gear up to work with this yet... for the xb9 up to 1250 seems to be out there BUT not the xb12 with this kit, Need larger Injectors, Throttle body , adjustable regulator lots of talk WERID???

seems they engine guys will build the engine but leaves it up to the owner to get it to run right

It's doable with directlink, but there are no canned solutions. Bored throttle bodies, Larger injectors and/or higher pressure fuel pump regulators are required. It would be a lot easier if we could find some commercially available sources for these type components. They're available from Buell racing, but not easily.

A lot of dyno time is needed to get it all dialed in. Terry has a couple big engines that he is working on now, but they don't get fully tuned fast. After he's done a number of them, it'll be easier, but these are the motors that we're learning on. It's not like we have full control over all the ECM parameters.

Well keep us posted, I guess using the big bore kit on the 9 wd. be alot easier to do since the bore only goes up to 1250 or so and thats not much more than the stock 12, is this right....

I have two 1450 Buell engines in tube framed Buells that I run 45 mikunis on, and they are very easy to tune. I know that putting a carb on an XB is not an option, so I am stumped. Surely Nallin Racing has this worked out...contact him.
