I recently had the head light cowl off my M2 and noticed that the wires at the base of the ignition key assembly felt very hot. Should I be concerned? Also, is the ignition the same as a 2000 model sporty. My local Harley dealer doesn't think so but they are known buell haters.

hot means what ever contact or circuit in question is having a bit of trouble flowing the current asked of it.
