Hello, I build top fuel Harley chassis and I am making up fork assemblies based on the 1998 S1 fork tubes. In addition to changing the springs and spacers, I want to change the oil to Screaming Eagle Extra heavy. Is there a simple way to do this without disasembling the fork tubes ? (which are new) Can't I just uncap them, turn them upside down , drain completely, and replace with the same volume of oil? Your help is appreciated. John

John

ya hit the nail on the head -- uncapping the lil dears will let you get *almost* all the oil out -- what little remains should cause any troubles . . . . .
