Hi guys.....just bought a new xb9sx (200 miles) ...and it started to have a problem..
a real strange/lound sound coming from the bike's front .....at the same time i have this sound..i have all the electric lights failing together with that sound ..... seems to happen when i move the front wheel...and at low rpm's ...a friend of mine said that hd already knew about that problem...does anyone know what problem is that and can explain to me?
i already left the bike at hd...but they are not very competent so if i know what's the problem and tell them would be better..since it doesnt happen all the time..i couldnt show them..

sorry for my bad english...i couldnt express myselft what really is happening...
im a bit sad coz its a new bike.. : (

ciao

Welcome Marco!

Check the wiring bundle passing around the horn bracket under the front flyscreen, and make sure something is not rubbing through a wire somewhere.

Do you have a Race ECM? If so, when that is put in, it is REALLY easy to route that wiring bundle wrong and it can get cut through by one of the battery terminals.

Finaly, the battery terminals themselves work loose fairly easily. Check those to make sure they are clean and tight.

Let us know how it goes! The 9sx is a wonderful bike!
